At Physicians' Education Resource®, LLC (PER®), our comprehensive activities are designed utilizing adult education principles to ensure that the learning objectives and outcomes are identified, measured, and achieved.
PER® is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
PER® maintains complete responsibility and control over all content, quality, and scientific integrity of its educational activities and plans, develops, implements, and evaluates them in accordance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)'s Essential Areas and Elements, Policies and Standards for Commercial SupportSM, as well as guidelines set forth by the American Medical Association (AMA), US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), US Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG), Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) and the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed).
Disclosure Policy It is the policy of PER® to ensure balance, independence, objectivity, and scientific rigor in all of its educational activities.
In accordance with ACCME guidelines, PER® requires everyone who is in a position to control the content of an educational activity, including spouses/partners, to disclose all relevant financial relationships with any commercial interest. PER® has implemented mechanisms to identify and resolve all conflicts of interest prior to start of each activity.
Participants are notified prior to the activity of any relationship or absence of a relationship between faculty and commercial interests. Information disclosed includes the name of the faculty, the nature of the affiliation or financial interest, and the name of the company/organization with which the relationship exists. Additionally, prior to the start of each activity PER® discloses the source of commercial support to the participants.
